TM Emblem EMBROIDERY AND EMBLEMS

Patches made Easy

1) Step One: Tell us what you want your patch to look like. Describe it, sketch it, send a collage of photos or cutout art, or send finished art. On orders of 100 or more, we will create a color art rendering for you at no charge. Orders less than 100 we will do art for you for $20. Great patches begin with great art!

2) Step Two: Determine your cost by remembering these cost components: A) Size is determined by measuring the two widest points of the patch, adding them, dividing by two, and rounding up to the nearest half inch. For example, a patch 4.25" wide by 5.50" high averages 5 inches. (4.25 + 5.5 = 9.75/2= 4.875 which rounds up to 5.0") B) Percentage of embroidery is the amount of the patch surface that will be covered by thread. Most patches use a colored twill background as the dominant patch color; e.g. blue for the sky or green for grass. You can save money by making the percentage of embroidery 35%, 50%, 75% or 85% embroidery. Remember that the merrowed (sewn) border adds to the % of emb. C)Quantity. The more you order, the less you pay per piece! Due to set-up costs, our minimum order is 50 pieces. Volume discounts occur at 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000, and 2000 pieces. 10% discount on all BSA/GSA orders!!

3) Step Three Options: Heat Seal allows you to iron-on a patch to a cap or shirt. Peel-off backing allows the patch to be instantly attached. Most patches use a merrow or sewn border, but sharp angles may need to be laser cut for precision sizing. Six threads and 1 b'ground color are standard. Extra colors $.10 ea.
